Lil Wayne a no-show in Minneapolis…again

After Lil Wayne pushed back his concert a month later he still did not show up.

In February, days before Lil Wayne’s concert at Target Center in Minneapolis February 25 he postponed the event an entire month later labeling it a “conflict in schedule.” Rescheduled to perform Friday, March 31, Lil Wayne was to perform in a lineup featuring Rick Ross, Jeezy and Prof.

Ross stretched his opening performance until Target Center announced Lil Wayne would not be present.

“Lil Wayne has postponed his set tonight at Target Center due to plane mechanical issues. More details will be announced soon. Target Center was prepared to host the full lineup, so we sincerely apologize to all fans for the inconvenience,” a representative from Target Center stated in the announcement.

Add this to another chapter of Lil Wayne not performing in Minneapolis. Father’s Day 2015 he didn’t perform at nightclub The Venue after refusing a pat down. Per club rules, he wasn’t allowed to enter.
