Tebow hits walk off homer

“Tebow magic” was in the air in St. Lucie, Florida.

Tim Tebow, who was recently called up to High-Class A baseball, delivered with a walk off home run Thursday night. In game two of a doubleheader against Daytona, Tebow crushed a solo homer for the St. Lucie Mets to lift them to a 5-4 win.

Currently on an 11-game hitting streak, Tebow’s magic began since he first joined the club. In his debut with St. Lucie Tebow homered during his first at bat which has become a ritual as he’s done that last fall in his instructional league debut and earlier this spring with Columbia Fireflies.

Back in Florida may have the former Heisman winner feeling back home where he won a state football title and won two National Championships with Florida Gators.

So far in St. Lucie Tebow has played 16 games accumulating a batting average of .327 along with an on base percentage at .421. He’s also homered three times, piled up 10 RBI’s and scored 7 runs.

Is Tebow ready for another call up?
