Luis Fonsi, Demi Lovato set Latin Vevo record

In 24 hours no Latin Vevo music video has been viewed more than “Échame La Culpa.”

The Latin music video performed by Luis Fonsi and Demi Lovato dropped Friday. During the first 24 hours of its released it accumulated 17.1 million views, which breaks VEVO’s Latin record.

“Just saw we broke the @VEVO 24 hour Latin record?! Thank YOU Lovatics ❤️ #EchameLaCulpa @luisfonsi,” Lovato tweeted Saturday.

On the day of its release she described the video as a dance party.

“#EchameLaCulpa video is here!! Best dance party ever 💃🏻 ❤️ @luisfonsi,” Lovato tweeted Friday.

This news comes two days after Lovato’s single “Sorry Not Sorry” reached double platinum status.

“#SORRYNOTSORRY is officially double platinum??? Thank YOU!! Love my Lovatics so much ❤️❤️,” Lovato tweeted Thursday.
