DJ Khaled followed up Kehlani‘s opening performance in Demi Lovato’s 2018 “Tell Me You Love Me World Tour” Saturday, March 10, in Target Center. Using tracks DJ Khaled produced himself, he also incorporated other vintage tracks including “Purple Rain” for a Prince tribute. DJ Khaled brought out dance moves to his 2017 hit “Wild Thoughts” that features Rihanna and Bryson Tiller.
He also talked about his son, Asahd, who is credited as an executive producer on his latest platinum selling album “Grateful.” The message he spread throughout his performance was about love. He used his relationship with his son as a vehicle to demonstrate it in a video montage. Follow DJ Khaled on social media and you’ll see the two, he and his son, do everything together as DJ Khaled frequently refers to himself as “Father of Asahd.”
