Donnie Wahlberg excited for MOA’s Wahlburgers grand opening, summer 2018

Wahlburgers is one season away from its grand opening in the world’s largest mall.

Wahlburgers is a Boston burger joint and restaurant chain founded by Chef Paul Wahlberg and his celebrity brothers Mark, academy award nominated actor, and Donnie, actor and member of boy band New Kids on the Block. This summer “Wahlburgers” is slated to move into Minnesota’s Mall of America, the world’s largest shopping center. Donnie voiced his excitement for the grand opening of Wahlburgers in a brief interview on the red carpet at 2018 “Leather and Laces” pregame Super Bowl LII party, February 2, in Minneapolis. An event he co-hosted with his wife actress Jenny McCarthy.

“Oh, man I can’t wait. I wish it was open this weekend,” Donnie said. “It was nice to be at Mall of America today and see how nice everybody is here. Everybody has been so nice and supportive so I can’t wait to comeback for the grand opening, it’s going to be great.”

Moving into the mall that includes a seven acre “Nickelodeon Universe” amusement park is special for CBS “Blue Bloods” star as his kids love MOA.

“Its great to be associated with the Mall of America. Every time I’m on tour I take my kids there,” Donnie said. “We have a great time and to have a Wahlburgers there…its the biggest mall in the world. Its going to be amazing.”

Mall of America annually attracts 40 million visitors from around the world.
